Job Summary

The Product Support Specialist works alongside Segment Teams to provide foundational support to internal and external customers. This includes assisting with product selection, quotations, availability, and ordering of Roxtec products and components. Targeted accounts include power, data centers, advanced facilities, rail infrastructure, heavy vehicles, process industries, and telecom.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide basic technical support for standard Roxtec products and applications.
• Demonstrate a moderate understanding of product offerings to assist with accurate recommendations.
• Make product suggestions based on customer application requirements under guidance.
• Review customer specifications to support product fit decisions.
• Assist in consultations with new customers to understand industry needs and recommend standard solutions.
• Coordinate with Sales and Design teams; may assist with Engineering communication under supervision.
• Support the creation of documentation and quotations for standard product configurations.
• Manage CRM and ERP systems to process RFQs, track orders, and resolve basic discrepancies.
• Provide courteous and professional support to internal and external customers.
• Attend training and meetings as needed; occasional travel may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, with demonstrated interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong mathematical, technical, and mechanical aptitude
• Self-starter with solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn technical concepts and apply them in customer-facing scenarios
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of inside sales or customer service experience

• Required to wear PPE as needed
