Construction Project Manager - Rocky Mountain Region

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Construction Project Manager - Rocky Mountain Region based in United States.

This role leads complex projects for large sports venues, overseeing the project lifecycle from sales support and approval through manufacturing, installation, and customer acceptance.
You will manage both standard orders and custom projects involving installation subcontractors and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The position combines project planning, budget ownership, subcontractor management, scheduling, negotiation, and customer communication.
You will play a key role in reviewing bid requirements, developing scopes of work, preparing proposals, and identifying opportunities to improve project profitability.
The role requires proactive coordination across sales, engineering, manufacturing, customers, and installation teams.
You will also travel to project sites as needed to ensure successful execution and resolution of project challenges.

Accountabilities:

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for coordinating projects from early sales support through final customer acceptance, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.

  • Review Requests for Proposals and bid documents to understand project requirements and develop appropriate project approaches.
  • Prepare scopes of work and obtain competitive quotes from installation subcontractors.
  • Develop quotes and collaborate with project teams to prepare competitive, winning proposals.
  • Manage standard orders and custom projects involving installation subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and verify project-related documentation and ensure accurate information throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate project requirements, schedules, responsibilities, and updates clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate projects through design and manufacturing phases.
  • Select, coordinate, and manage installation subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate responsibilities across teams.
  • Own overall project success, including project budgets and financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and negotiate change orders when appropriate.
  • Analyze completed projects to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
  • Travel to project sites as required to support effective execution from order through customer acceptance.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales, customers, and project team members while working with limited supervision.
  • Share and implement recommendations for product and process improvements.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to meet customer expectations and project objectives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines project management capability with strong communication, organizational, and commercial skills. A background in construction, engineering, or technology is preferred, along with the ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technology, or a related field.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft software.
  • Ability to exercise discretion, independent judgment, and sound decision-making.
  • Ability to travel by air and ground, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to comply with applicable driver eligibility requirements, including motor vehicle record verification.
  • Fluent written and verbal English.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work remotely from a home office within the Rocky Mountain Region, including AZ, NM, NV, UT, MT, CO, WA, OR, WY, and ID.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%–20%, depending on business needs.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Immigration visa sponsorship, renewal, or extension is not available for this position.

  • Typical annual hiring range of $80,000–$130,000, depending on location and relevant qualifications.
