This senior finance leadership role will oversee the global Record-to-Report function and ensure the organization’s financial records are accurate, complete, timely, and consistently maintained. Accountabilities:

  • Establish and maintain global general ledger policies, procedures, account ownership standards, reconciliation templates, close checklists, certification requirements, and quality review routines.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise on the interpretation and application of relevant accounting standards and monitor changes in accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Lead monthly and annual close execution across countries, shared services, and local finance teams, ensuring deadlines, review standards, issue escalation, and reporting dependencies are consistently met.
  • Maintain governance over the chart of accounts, legal entity structures, department and practice coding, cost centers, intercompany accounts, and other reporting attributes.
  • Partner with FP&A to ensure actual financial results are structured and reported effectively for management reporting, KPI analysis, profitability assessment, and decision support.
  • Collaborate with Tax and Audit teams to support compliance and audit requirements by ensuring accurate and timely financial information, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation are available.
  • Support the accounting integration of acquired companies by mapping ledgers, converting charts of accounts, supporting opening balance sheets, standardizing close processes, and aligning accounting policies.
  • Strengthen controls over manual journal entries, reconciliations, account ownership, recurring entries, intercompany settlements, fixed assets, accruals, and close certifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve global accounting processes, strengthen governance, increase consistency, and enhance the efficiency and reliability of financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent professional designation is preferred.
  • Bring 8+ years of experience in accounting, general ledger, controllership, consolidation, or Record-to-Report functions, including leadership experience in multi-entity or multi-country environments.
  • Demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards to complex or non-routine transactions.
  • Have experience working with ERP systems, close management tools, multi-currency accounting, intercompany processes, acquisition integration, and internal controls.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial close processes, reconciliations, journal entry governance, consolidation support, fixed assets, accruals, and intercompany accounting.
  • Bring proven experience establishing accounting policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and control standards across geographically distributed finance teams.
  • Possess strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex accounting matters.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with finance leadership, FP&A, Tax, Audit, shared services, and local finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive consistency and accountability across a global organization.
  • Be comfortable operating in a dynamic environment and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
Benefits:
  • Annual base salary of $125,000–$150,000, excluding benefits.
  • Opportunity to lead a global Record-to-Report function across multiple countries and legal entities.
  • Exposure to complex accounting, financial controls, consolidation, and acquisition integration activities.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a global finance organization.
  • An environment that values diversity, inclusion, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunities to work cross-functionally with finance, FP&A, Tax, Audit, and other business teams.
