Partner Funding Operations Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Funding Operations Specialist based in Canada.

This is an operations-focused role within a growing Finance team, responsible for managing partner funding programs from end to end.
You will oversee documentation, funding requests, invoicing, approvals, and compliance while ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
The position requires close coordination with internal teams and external technology partners to keep funding activities moving smoothly.
You will monitor evolving program requirements, communicate changes clearly, and help teams remain aligned with current processes.
Accuracy, organization, accountability, and adaptability will be essential as you manage multiple systems, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
You will also have opportunities to improve operational efficiency through reporting, automation, and better workflows.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end operational workflow for AWS and Anthropic funding programs, ensuring documentation, funding requests, approvals, and invoicing are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate client records, funding documentation, operational trackers, and related information across internal systems.
  • Prepare, validate, and submit invoices while performing quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
  • Monitor funding program guidelines, documentation standards, deadlines, and process changes, keeping internal procedures aligned with current partner expectations.
  • Communicate program updates, funding requirements, deadlines, and best practices clearly to relevant internal teams.
  • Coordinate approval workflows and ensure all required documentation is completed, signed, and submitted within established timelines.
  • Provide stakeholders with clear and timely updates on funding status, outstanding actions, deadlines, and project progress.
  • Build collaborative relationships with external partner stakeholders, proactively addressing issues, clarifying requirements, and requesting deadline extensions when necessary.
  • Work closely with Account Executives, Project Managers, Delivery teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve documentation issues and support successful funding execution.
  • Use internal systems, reporting tools, and automation to improve operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of accuracy, accountability, and compliance.
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in Operations, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Billing, Finance Operations, Administrative Support, or a related field.
  • Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Previous experience processing invoices or other financial documentation.
  • Comfortable working across multiple web-based platforms and systems simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting Sales, Project Management, Delivery, or other cross-functional teams is an advantage.
  • Experience with AWS Partner Programs, cloud partner operations, or vendor funding programs is highly desirable.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to evolving processes, documentation requirements, program guidelines, and compliance standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear and actionable guidance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Experience collaborating with external partners and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Claude and related AI projects is a plus.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach to operational challenges.
Benefits:
  • Base salary of CAD $71,000–$88,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
