Job Description
We are hiring a HR Compliance Associate to support day-to-day compliance activities throughout the employee lifecycle. This role is essential in supporting employees, Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, and other departments by helping ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and employment regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
This is a flexible role that may provide administrative compliance support across other departments, including Safety and Training & Development, based on business needs
Requirements:RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support the administration and compliance of employee leave programs, including tracking leave requests, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with employees, managers, and Leave Specialist.
· Assist with benefits administration and ensure employee information, eligibility, enrollment, and related documentation are maintained accurately and timely.
· Provide administrative support for payroll-related compliance activities, including reviewing employee timecards & eligibility.
· Assist with employee lifecycle compliance activities, including onboarding, status changes, transfers, leaves of absence, accommodations, and offboarding.
· Monitor HR compliance requirements and assist with maintaining policies, procedures, forms, and documentation.
· Partner with Human Resources Leadership to resolve employee-related compliance matters.
· Assist with the administration and documentation of workplace safety, training, and development programs as needed.
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
· Provide general administrative compliance support to other departments based on organizational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Previous experience in Human Resources, HR administration, benefits, leave administration, payroll, compliance, or a related field preferred.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
· Ability to interpret and follow company policies, procedures, and applicable employment regulations.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn HRIS, payroll, benefits, and other administrative systems.
· Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with other departments.
EDUCATION:
· High School diploma or GED required.
· Associates Degree in HR or related field preferred.
· HR certification or related professional training is a plus, but not a requirement.
