This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and customer success.
You will embed directly with customers as a technical partner, helping them solve complex challenges and modernize their software delivery practices.
The position combines hands-on implementation, strategic consulting, and architecture leadership across enterprise technology environments.
You will design and optimize solutions spanning CI/CD, cloud management, security, and platform engineering.

- Embed directly with customer engineering, platform, and security teams to solve technical challenges and accelerate successful platform adoption.
- Own the technical success of customer implementations across multiple technology domains, acting as a trusted advisor and hands-on technical partner.
- Design, implement, and optimize DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, and DevSecOps workflows tailored to customer environments.
- Guide customers through onboarding, implementation, enablement, and adoption programs to accelerate time-to-value.
- Architect solutions across multiple platform capabilities, helping customers move from fragmented tools toward integrated technology strategies.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to share customer insights, influence roadmap decisions, and improve future solutions.
- Conduct technical reviews, business reviews, and success planning sessions aligned with customer goals and measurable outcomes.
- Analyze platform usage, adoption metrics, and delivery performance to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Provide recommendations on technology practices, processes, and team workflows to improve software delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams on expansion opportunities, renewals, and long-term customer relationships.
- Contribute to technical documentation, reference architectures, enablement resources, and internal best practices.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, DevOps, technical consulting, or similar technical roles.
- Proven experience working in customer-facing technical positions such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, Customer Success Engineer, or Professional Services Engineer.
- Strong ability to lead complex technical implementations and deliver measurable customer outcomes.
- Hands-on experience across multiple cloud and infrastructure technologies, including AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Linux.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, or OpenShift.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, pipeline architecture, and DevOps automation.
- Proficiency with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, and YAML; experience with Go is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts, including secure pipeline design, policy enforcement, application security practices, and software supply chain security.
- Experience with platform engineering or internal developer platforms is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on builder mindset and ability to operate across multiple technical areas.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence engineers, technical leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with ambiguity, complex challenges, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Relevant certifications in cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related technologies are a plus.
- Must be located on the West Coast within the United States.
