Parma Tavern is seeking experienced, dependable, and career-minded Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. For years, Parma Tavern has been a neighborhood favorite, serving an eclectic mix of Italian-inspired pub fare featuring stone oven pizzas cooked in our 600-degree brick oven, fresh pasta with made-from-scratch sauces, house-ground burgers, shareable appetizers, and an extensive selection of craft beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails.

What We're Looking For- Previous line cook experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant is required
- Experience stretching, building, baking, and finishing artisan pizzas is strongly preferred
- Experience working grill, sauté, pantry, or multiple kitchen stations
- Strong understanding of recipe execution, portion control, and presentation standards
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality food during busy services
- Commitment to following company recipes, build sheets, and plating standards every time
- Strong sense of urgency without sacrificing quality
- Dependable, accountable, and prepared for every shift
- Positive attitude with a willingness to support the entire kitchen
- Flexible availability, including weekends and late-night shifts
- Desire to grow with a stable and successful restaurant
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and presentation standards
- Stretch, build, bake, and finish artisan pizzas to company specifications
- Execute grill, sauté, pantry, and pizza station responsibilities with consistency and efficiency
- Maintain proper station setup, stocking, and organization throughout each shift
- Complete daily line checks, temperature logs, and food quality checks
- Follow all recipe builds, portion standards, and plating specifications
- Maintain ticket times while preserving food quality during high-volume service
- Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, expeditors, and management
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the shift
- Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food products
- Assist with prep, inventory, receiving, and cleaning responsibilities as assigned
- Complete opening, running, and closing duties
- Take ownership of every plate leaving your station
- Support teammates and move between stations as business demands
- Help create a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Our Line Cooks are expected to:
- Follow all company recipes and build sheets without exception
- Maintain consistent product quality regardless of business volume
- Follow all Health Department regulations and food safety requirements
- Adhere to ServSafe principles and proper sanitation procedures
- Maintain proper food temperatures, labeling, storage, and rotation
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and service-ready throughout every shift
- Take pride in every plate served to our guests
Parma Tavern serves guests throughout lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and late-night service.
Applicants must have flexible availability, including:
- Lunch and dinner shifts
- Weekend brunch
- Evening and late-night shifts

- Opening and closing responsibilities
- Additional shifts during peak business periods
The strongest candidates understand the demands of a high-volume restaurant and are willing to work where they're needed most.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of recent line cook experience preferred
- High-volume full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred
- Pizza-making experience preferred, including dough stretching and stone oven baking
- Experience on grill, sauté, pantry, or multiple stations
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and ticket flow
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Working knowledge of ServSafe and Health Department standards preferred
- $16–$18 per hour based on experience
