ANZUK Education are working with welcoming and well-established SEN schools and provisions across Surrey seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teachers to join their teams. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced educators with a passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs, helping them thrive both academically and personally. These SEN Teacher roles would suit qualified teachers with experience supporting pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Needs, SEMH, and Complex Learning Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with additional educational needs.
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches where required.
• Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.
• Support pupils' academic, social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Maintain high expectations for achievement, engagement and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
• Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs to achieve their potential.
• Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one, with eligibility to work in the UK.
• Have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
• Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
