Job Description
$19.00 per hour
Schedule: Alternating Shifts: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with required weekend availability
Thrive Senior Living is seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Administrative Business Lead to oversee front desk operations, monthly scheduling and support the growth and success of our First Impressions Concierge team. This leadership role combines administrative responsibilities, new-hire onboarding, employee training, team supervision, and employee morale initiatives. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and passionate about creating a welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
-Front Desk Leadership: Oversee daily front desk operations and ensure the First Impressions Concierge team provides exceptional customer service and a welcoming first impression.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and support team members, coordinate coverage, assist with scheduling needs, and step in to cover shifts when team members are unavailable.
- Administrative Support: Create, maintain, and update Excel Spreadsheets, Word and Canva documents, schedules, and other administrative records.
- New-Hire Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding paperwork, assist with new-hire processing, and ensure required employment documentation is completed.
- Orientation & Training: Oversee and conduct new-hire orientation, ensuring team members understand community policies, procedures, and service expectations.
- CPR Training Coordination: Coordinate and monitor CPR training requirements, maintain training records, and help ensure compliance with required certifications.
- Employee Morale: Plan and implement monthly employee morale and engagement activities that promote teamwork, recognition, and a positive workplace culture.
- Department Development: Identify opportunities to improve front desk procedures, strengthen team performance, and help the department grow.
- Resident & Guest Experience: Maintain a professional, friendly, and service-focused environment for residents, families, visitors, and employees.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, front desk, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Experience with employee onboarding, orientation, or training preferred.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
- Dependable, flexible, and willing to assist wherever needed.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Must be available to work weekends as needed and provide coverage when staffing requires it.
