Sr. Supply Chain Controller (Remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Controller - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the Industrial & Commercial Transportation Operations Finance Global Center of Excellence. You will be responsible for financial controlling and business partnerships with global supply chain functions. Your expertise will influence the direction of financial strategies, enhance inventory management, and ensure effective collaboration across diverse teams. The impact of your work will contribute significantly to optimizing costs and improving operational efficiency on a global scale.
Accountabilities- Drive effective inventory management strategies to meet revenue and cost targets.
- Lead forecasting and variance analysis for global freight costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage global allocation forecasts across multiple distribution centers.
- Support operational finance consolidation efforts within the company.
- Continuously improve systems and processes for enhanced reporting accuracy.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration to develop cost-effective strategies.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Finance-related function.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and modeling.
- Proficiency in data manipulation using Excel; experience with SAP is essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with global finance environments is preferred.
