Essential Functions
- Provide services required for timely maintenance and economical repair of all plant equipment.
- Plan, estimate, and schedule all plant maintenance work.
- Manage, monitor, and analyze computerized maintenance management system (MAXIMO).
- Review, write, approve completed and closes work orders.
- Maintain equipment service records, downtime, and repair records.
- Identify safety needs, staffing needs, materials, and special equipment or tools to execute maintenance work.
- Responsible for maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, predictive maintenance, and maintenance record keeping.
- Coordinate all maintenance shutdown activities and maintenance/engineering-related contractors.
- Schedule daily, weekly, and maintenance shutdowns in coordination with operations.
- Familiar with all equipment, its operating function and repair needs, and maintains its records for future reference.
- Develop and use standards and data for estimating planned work and compares to actual time/cost for effective utilization of resources.
- Determine root cause of unscheduled downtime and make recommendations to minimize or reduce downtime.
- Review and recommend substitute materials and/or procedures.
- Perform tasks required to update prints, procedures, planning packages, and/or preventive maintenance plans.
- Monitor new equipment needs, modifications, and support spare parts to insure reliable, productive use of equipment.
- Capable of working with others at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
