Job Description
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Program Manager to work for our company.
Summary:
- Client Agency is National Science Foundation.
- Manage large-scale contract support operations involving personnel across multiple locations.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and execution of all contract support activities.
- Serve as the primary interface with Government stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
- Demonstrate strong communication skills across all levels of management and project teams.
- Maintain overall responsibility for both technical and administrative aspects of the program.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring schedules are clearly communicated and consistently met.
- Oversee budget management, including tracking labor hours, costs, and resource utilization.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring all activities are monitored and risks are addressed.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, organizational policies, and government regulations.
Requirements:
- Must be eligible for a clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Must have 10+ years of progressive experience in IT program or project management. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered as a substitution.
- Proven experience managing large, complex IT programs or government contracts
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills across distributed and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with senior government stakeholders, including COs and CORs
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
- Strong financial and budget management experience, including forecasting and cost control
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
