The MissionWe are looking for a high-impact, entrepreneurial, and deeply technical product leader to serve as the strategic and operational right hand to our Director of Product. You will sit at the intersection of product strategy and execution to bridge the gap between complex technical architecture and business-critical KPIs.
This is a role for a fast-thinking, direct communicator who can manage multiple parallel workstreams while ensuring every product decision aligns with the company's long-term growth and is delivered on time. You are a product-first builder who gets into the weeds of the data to ensure the right features are shipped and their impact is measured.
- End-to-End Product Ownership: Take full autonomy over critical, cross-functional projects; from initial hypothesis testing and product discovery to technical scoping and go-to-market strategy
- Tactical Execution: Translate high-level business and product visions into actionable technical roadmaps.
- You will drive projects by coordinating multiple teams across domain areas, acting as the go-between for business stakeholders and engineering leads.
- Bridge Tech & Business: You are aware of and understand system design decisions made while ensuring every feature maps back to measurable growth and revenue.
- Operational Scaling: Optimize product discovery and delivery processes to maintain high velocity as the organization grows
- Decision Making: Step into technical and product meetings to make executive-level calls, unblocking bottlenecks by balancing technical feasibility with product desirability.
- You have a systematic, 3-dimensional understanding of how tech works, but you view technology as a tool to solve customer problems.
- You have a “get shit down” mindset. If a process is missing or a feature is underperforming, you have solutions in mind and make sure this is fixed.
- You don't just ship features; you understand why we build them, how they fit into the product lifecycle, and exactly how to measure their success via business KPIs. You are a fast thinker who values question-and-answer efficiency.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and don't wait for a manual to take action.
- Operating effectively in stealth mode is second nature to you, and you are prepared to dive deep into tickets, API documentation, or raw data to confirm the viability of a product's path.
Experience:
- 6+ years in Product Management, Engineering Leadership, or as a Technical Founder, ideally in a role where you owned the product vision.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent "self-taught" professional mastery. You must understand system design and modern tech stack.
- Proven success in a high-growth environment driving products from 0 to 1 or scaling from 1 to 100.Experience managing or mentoring teams, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different departments.
- Bonus Points: Prior experience collaborating with Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams to leverage complex data models and robust pipelines for product-led growth.
- Professional fluency in English. You can articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with ease and gravitas.
- A realistic approach to tools; you value AI as an optimizer but prioritize impact over hype.
- Invest in Your Future: Regular feedback and our development program support your growth, helping you expand your skill set and achieve your career goals.
- Easy Arrival to adjoe: From signing to settling in Hamburg, we’ve got you covered. Need a visa? No problem. Ready to build your new life and career at adjoe in Hamburg? We support every ambition—from learning German to a relocation bonus that helps you make Hamburg feel like home.
- Live Your Best Life, at Work and Beyond: We work in a hybrid setup with core office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, plus flexible working hours. Enjoy 30 vacation days, 3 weeks of remote work per year, and free access to an in-house gym with lots of different fitness classes and mental health support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- Thrive Where You Work: Enjoy the Alster lake view from our central office with top-notch equipment, fun open spaces, and a large variety of snacks and drinks.
- Join the Community! Participate in regular team and company events, including hackathons and social gatherings. We work together, and we celebrate together, too.
Skip writing cover letters. Tell us about your most passionate personal project, your desired salary and your earliest possible start date. We are looking forward to your application!
We welcome applications from people who will contribute to the diversity of our company.
