Location: Angelina or Nacogdoches Mental Health Clinic - Lufkin or Nacogdoches, TX
Position Number: 1475
Compensation: Salary commensurate with education and experience

About the Role

The Project Evaluator position is responsible for data collection, reporting for grant programs and projects, and direct care work for the Integrated Care Clinics and SAMHSA assessments, where applicable. This position works closely with the CCBHC Project Director and the Child Trauma Project Director to develop reports and utilize program data to monitor project performance for the purpose of strategic planning and program enhancement.

The Project Evaluator is responsible for applying informatics-derived insights that support the strategic goals of the project, whether operational, financial, clinical, or a combination thereof. This position is also responsible for reporting Burke's data to SAMHSA at required frequencies and in specified formats. The Project Evaluator works within the guidelines, policies, and mission of the organization.

This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, data analysis and evaluation, and the behavioral healthcare field. The Project Evaluator also performs duties requiring visual, auditory, and motor skills to communicate effectively, attend and lead meetings, and develop and deliver reports.

What You'll Do
  • Collect, analyze, and report data for grant-funded programs and projects
  • Prepare and submit required reports to SAMHSA at specified frequencies and in required formats
  • Monitor project performance and utilize data to support strategic planning and program enhancement
  • Apply informatics and data analysis to support operational, financial, and clinical project goals
  • Provide direct care services for the Integrated Care Clinics and complete SAMHSA assessments, where applicable
  • Collaborate with the CCBHC Project Director and Child Trauma Project Director
  • Develop reports and present findings to support project planning and evaluation
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements and organizational policies
What You NeedRequired
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Valid Texas driver's license with an insurable driving record
  • Ability to complete Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA), CPR, and First Aid training
Preferred
  • Master's degree in a Behavioral Health field
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other dashboard software
  • Certification in SQL or another database query language
Work Schedule
  • Monday - Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Travel throughout Burke's 11-county service area is required
  • Overnight travel for training, conferences, and meetings is required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to walk, drive, and travel throughout the service area
  • Ability to see, hear, communicate effectively, and perform tasks requiring hand and finger dexterity
