This is a contract opportunity for an experienced music and audio professional to help shape the quality of next-generation AI-generated musical content.
You will evaluate AI-generated lyrics, voice performances, musical outputs, and training data against professional standards.
Your expertise will help identify quality gaps and provide meaningful input that improves the performance of AI models.
The role combines hands-on music knowledge, audio production expertise, lyrical understanding, and emerging AI technologies.
You will collaborate with AI research teams while working independently in a flexible, asynchronous environment.

• Evaluate AI-generated musical content, including lyrics, voice generation, and other audio or music outputs, against established quality standards.
• Assess the quality, authenticity, and suitability of musical training data to help improve AI model performance.
• Apply professional expertise in music production, audio engineering, sound mixing, songwriting, and musical theory when reviewing AI-generated content.
• Evaluate lyrical content for quality, coherence, linguistic accuracy, musical suitability, and alignment with English-language music conventions.
• Identify weaknesses, inconsistencies, and quality issues in AI-generated music and provide informed feedback to support model improvement.
• Collaborate with AI research teams and other specialists to improve the quality and effectiveness of AI-generated musical content.
• Contribute domain-specific knowledge and professional judgment to help refine music-focused AI evaluation processes.
• Work independently and asynchronously while completing assignments accurately and consistently within established deadlines.
• Apply relevant experience in writing and producing music in English to evaluate AI-generated outputs effectively.
• Maintain consistent evaluation standards across different types of musical and audio content.

• 3+ years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, sound mixer, or in a closely related music/audio profession.
• College or university degree in Music or a related discipline, with relevant study in music performance, theory, songwriting, or lyrics.
• Demonstrated experience writing lyrical music in English.
• Native or near-native proficiency in English, with a strong understanding of English-language musical expression and songwriting conventions.
• Strong knowledge of music production, audio quality, musical structure, vocal performance, and sound.
• Ability to critically evaluate musical and audio content and identify subtle quality differences.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply professional musical judgment consistently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate observations and feedback effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage assignments in an asynchronous remote environment.
• Comfortable working with AI-generated content and adapting professional music expertise to emerging AI evaluation workflows.
• Strong interest in the intersection of music, audio production, creativity, and artificial intelligence.
