This commercial role is focused on driving strategic revenue growth across high-value, complex construction and infrastructure projects within the data center and mission critical space. The position requires a strong blend of technical sales expertise, territory ownership, and relationship-building across a broad ecosystem of stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, and end users. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and converting project opportunities from early design through execution, ensuring strong specification positioning of integrated ceiling and containment solutions. This is a highly field-oriented role with significant travel, offering exposure to fast-growing, innovation-driven markets. The environment is dynamic and performance-focused, where success is defined by pipeline strength, project wins, and long-term client partnerships. It is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Develop and manage a defined geographic territory to achieve revenue growth, profitability targets, and long-term market expansion.
- Build and maintain a strong project pipeline within data center, containment, and mission critical construction markets.
- Identify, pursue, influence, and close project-based opportunities across multiple channels, including contractors, integrators, engineers, architects, and owners.
- Drive specification positioning by engaging early in the design phase and securing product inclusion in project plans.
- Track projects through their full lifecycle, from early concept through installation and closeout.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the construction and data center ecosystem.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to customers and partners.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and field feedback to internal product, marketing, and sales teams.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting (Salesforce).
- Collaborate with internal teams to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- 5–10 years of B2B sales experience in construction, mission critical, data center, or related technical sales environments.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding territory-based sales targets.
- Strong understanding of project-based, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Ability to manage a geographic territory independently with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent technical selling, communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Experience engaging with engineers, architects, contractors, and end users in complex sales environments.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence early-stage project design decisions.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $115,180 to $172,780 per year, depending on experience and location.
