Job Description

Product Owner | Senior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner | Senior based in United Kingdom.

This is a senior product ownership role at the intersection of hardware and software, focused on building a unified productivity ecosystem designed to help users eliminate distractions and improve focus. You will own the end-to-end product experience across a smart physical device, mobile and desktop applications, and a growing set of integrations and automation capabilities. The role requires strong product judgment and the ability to turn complex, fast-moving inputs into clear priorities and executable plans. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to ensure product coherence across all surfaces. Success in this role means shaping not just features, but a cohesive system that drives activation, retention, and long-term engagement. The environment is fast-evolving, highly experimental, and deeply user-focused, with significant ownership and autonomy from day one.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and evolve the product as a unified ecosystem spanning hardware, mobile apps, desktop applications, and integrations, ensuring consistent user experience across all surfaces.
  • Define, structure, and prioritize the product roadmap, translating feedback, data, and strategic goals into clear delivery plans.
  • Design and refine key user journeys such as focus modes, timers, distraction blocking, status systems, and automation workflows.
  • Align hardware and software behavior to ensure seamless interaction between device, applications, and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to define requirements, user flows, and acceptance criteria for new features.
  • Monitor product performance metrics including activation, retention, engagement, and repeat usage, using insights to guide prioritization.
  • Coordinate product direction across design, engineering, marketing, support, and operations to maintain a coherent product vision.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Product Leadership roles with end-to-end responsibility for digital products.
  • Strong ability to operate at the intersection of hardware and software, with an understanding of system-level product design.
  • Proven experience turning ambiguous inputs into structured roadmaps, priorities, and clear product requirements.
  • Comfortable working with technical concepts such as APIs, integrations, device behavior, and cross-platform architecture.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to write precise, structured, and actionable product documentation.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineers and designers in agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong product judgment grounded in user behavior, data, and practical constraints rather than intuition alone.
  • Ability to protect focus and ensure roadmap discipline in complex, fast-moving product environments.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with consumer hardware, productivity tools, behavioral UX, automation, or community-driven products.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work from anywhere in the world.
  • Provided equipment to ensure a productive and comfortable work setup.
  • Benefits package including private healthcare (VHI), corporate sports programs, language courses, and therapy support.
  • Flexible working model with a five-day workweek and adaptable start times.
  • Opportunity to build and scale a category-defining productivity ecosystem spanning hardware and software.
