Join a purpose-driven technology environment where effective programme management helps deliver critical services to communities worldwide. As a Senior PMO Analyst, you will support the successful delivery of complex healthcare programmes and contribute to the governance of a dynamic portfolio of IT projects. You will bring structure, transparency, and consistency to project delivery through robust reporting, assurance activities, and stakeholder coordination. Working closely with project teams and senior leaders, you will help identify risks, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement across programme management practices. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen PMO capabilities while supporting technology initiatives that improve public services. It is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and enabling teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Coordinate PMO activities across a portfolio of complex healthcare and IT programmes, supporting effective planning, governance, and delivery.

  • Conduct and facilitate project assurance activities, including stage-gate reviews, project health checks, and audits, identifying gaps and recommending corrective actions.

  • Collect, validate, and consolidate project information to produce accurate, timely reports and presentations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

  • Prepare and coordinate status reports, board meeting materials, senior leadership team updates, and monthly governance reports.

  • Monitor programme performance, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery progress to support informed decision-making.

  • Promote compliance with established project management frameworks, governance standards, and PMO best practices.

  • Support projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies, applying an understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting quality, governance processes, and overall PMO maturity.

  • Work collaboratively with project managers, programme teams, and stakeholders to improve coordination, transparency, and delivery outcomes.

  • Use project management and reporting tools to maintain documentation, analyse data, and provide meaningful programme insights.

Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience as a PMO Analyst, with a solid understanding of PMO operations, governance, assurance, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated experience conducting PMO assurance activities, facilitating stage-gate reviews, coordinating project health checks and audits, and recommending process improvements.

  • Proven ability to gather, validate, analyse, and present project information for executive-level audiences.

  • Experience preparing status reports, board-level reporting, senior leadership team updates, and monthly governance presentations.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, as well as the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Knowledge of project governance practices within IT delivery environments.

  • Proficiency with PMO and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Jira, and reporting platforms.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.

  • A formal project management certification, such as PRINCE2, PMP, PMO certification, PMBOK-related certification, or an equivalent qualification.

  • Relevant experience working within a project management office in a government or public-sector environment.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate complex information clearly.

  • A proactive, delivery-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement, accountability, and stakeholder engagement.

Benefits:
  • Remote and flexible working arrangements, with the option to work from home and visit office locations when needed.

  • An inclusive, safe, and welcoming work environment that values diversity and collaboration.

  • Learning and professional development opportunities to support career growth and continuous skill development.

  • Opportunities to contribute to meaningful technology initiatives that support healthcare and public services.

  • A culture that encourages employees to give back to their communities, including Days of Difference leave for volunteering with a charity of their choice.

  • Access to the technology and tools needed to support flexible working and collaboration with colleagues.
