This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Acquisition Sourcer based in Brazil.
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Sourcer to support the growth of a dynamic, global, social-first media business. This fully remote, freelance opportunity focuses on identifying, engaging, and building talent pipelines for a diverse range of creative, commercial, and technical roles. You will play a key role in connecting exceptional talent with exciting opportunities across content, editorial, brand partnerships, finance, and technology. Working closely with a UK-based talent team, you will help strengthen recruitment strategies through proactive sourcing, talent mapping, and personalized candidate outreach. The role offers the opportunity to explore innovative sourcing channels, leverage AI tools, and contribute to a fast-paced, creative environment. If you enjoy discovering hard-to-find talent and building meaningful candidate relationships, this is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on a growing international business.
- Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates across content, editorial, brand partnerships, commercial, finance, and technology functions.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for business-critical and hard-to-fill positions, anticipating future hiring needs.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, social media platforms, portfolio websites, GitHub, creator platforms, and online communities to discover relevant talent.
- Map talent pools across digital publishers, social-first media businesses, creator-led companies, and related industries.
- Develop personalized, compelling outreach messages that communicate the appeal of opportunities and encourage prospective candidates to engage.
- Collaborate with the UK-based talent team to understand role requirements, align on search strategies, and deliver qualified, interested candidates with clear and actionable handover notes.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in Teamtailor or a similar applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring sourcing activity and pipeline information remain organized and up to date.
- Continuously improve sourcing methods, experiment with new tools and channels, and use AI-powered solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, with a strong emphasis on candidate sourcing and proactive talent identification.
- Demonstrated ability to source candidates beyond LinkedIn, using alternative platforms such as portfolio websites, GitHub, creator platforms, and relevant online communities.
- Experience building talent maps and developing pipelines of passive candidates, particularly for specialist or hard-to-fill positions.
- Good understanding of social-first media, digital publishers, social media ecosystems, and creator businesses.
- Strong written English skills, with the ability to craft personalized, engaging outreach that feels authentic and human.
- Experience sourcing across a variety of functions, including creative, commercial, and technical roles, is an advantage.
- Previous experience working with UK-based businesses or international talent acquisition teams is desirable.
- Familiarity with Teamtailor or another applicant tracking system is preferred.
- Confidence using AI tools to streamline research, sourcing, and recruitment workflows.
- Strong research, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, combined with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
- Availability to work hours that overlap effectively with the UK working day.
- A short application video is mandatory. Applicants must submit their CV and a video answering the following questions:
- Describe a hard-to-fill role you have sourced for, including where you searched and how you attracted the right candidates.
- Explain how you would pitch a social-first media business to a prospective candidate in a few sentences.
- Describe how you would approach sourcing for a role you have never recruited for before.
- Video editing and production quality are not assessed; the focus is on transferable skills, sourcing expertise, and communication style.
- Freelance contract: An opportunity to contribute your talent acquisition expertise on a freelance basis.
- Fully remote work: Work from Brazil in a location-independent role.
- International collaboration: Partner with a UK-based talent team and contribute to recruitment across a global business.
- Flexible working environment: Organize your work remotely, with the expectation of sufficient overlap with UK working hours.
- Broad role exposure: Source candidates across creative, editorial, commercial, finance, and technical functions.
- Professional development: Expand your sourcing expertise by exploring new talent markets, digital platforms, and AI-powered recruitment tools.
- Meaningful impact: Help build talent pipelines and connect exceptional professionals with opportunities in a fast-growing, creativity-driven environment.
- Collaborative culture: Work alongside a friendly, fast-moving team that values initiative, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
