PURPOSE
The Inventory Specialist will perform a variety of tasks and duties assigned, under general supervision of the Accounting Supervisor. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for Inventory Control, and other projects and tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Operations & Ledger Maintenance: Manage accounts payable, inventory tracking, and general ledger operations while supporting monthly accounting cycles.
- Inventory Control & Reconciliations: Execute month-end inventory spot checks, complete ledger reconciliations, and process required system adjustments.
- Reporting, Analysis & Audit Support: Assist with preparing timely financial reports and research inventory issues to assist with internal and external audits.
- Compliance, Internal Controls & Administration: Maintain effective internal accounting controls, ensure policy compliance
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- General and automated accounting experience.
- Knowledge of inventory control software and systems.
- Knowledge of business management systems.
- Knowledge of General Accounting Principles and Practices.
- Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proven working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Proven excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- 10-key by touch.
PREFERRED
Education and Experience:
- Two (2) Year Degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
- Gaming or Hospitality accounting experience.
- Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software experience.
- Eatec Inventory software experience.
Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
