Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Visit Injections in East Brunswick, New Jersey at ACUTE MEDICAL STAFFING

Acute Medical Staffing is urgently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for flexible per diem home-visit assignments throughout Middlesex County, New Jersey.

This position is ideal for an RN looking for flexible supplemental income with short, scheduled patient visits. Nurses will travel to patients’ homes to administer prescribed long-acting injectable (LAI) medications, primarily psychiatric medications.

Assignments are offered on a per diem/PRN basis based on patient need and nurse availability. Current needs are limited hours, with additional patients and assignments expected as the program expands.

Schedule

• Per Diem / PRN
• Approximately 1 hour per patient visit
• Flexible scheduling based on patient needs
• Current need starting ASAP
• Additional cases may become available throughout Middlesex County

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who already work another position and are looking to add flexible, low-hour clinical assignments to their schedule.

• Travel to assigned patient homes within Middlesex County
• Review and verify medication orders prior to administration
• Administer prescribed long-acting injectable medications in accordance with the medication order and clinical protocol
• Complete appropriate nursing assessment and medication administration documentation
• Monitor patients for immediate post-injection reactions when clinically required
• Follow medication-specific administration and observation requirements
• Communicate any concerns, adverse reactions, or changes in patient condition according to established protocol
• Maintain professional and timely communication regarding scheduled visits
