Sr. Financial Analyst - FP&A

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst - FP&A based in United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a senior finance professional to play a central role in enterprise planning, forecasting, budgeting, and workforce analysis.
You’ll partner closely with senior leaders, turning complex financial and operational data into clear insights that support strategic decisions.
The role offers broad exposure to revenue, costs, profitability, workforce planning, investments, pricing, and long-term business strategy.
You’ll build sophisticated financial models, lead planning cycles, and contribute to executive-level reporting and business cases.
A key focus will be improving FP&A processes through automation, stronger reporting, and scalable financial systems.
You’ll work in a fast-growing healthcare environment where analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead enterprise headcount and compensation forecasting, covering hiring plans, vacancies, salaries, benefits, incentives, recruiting costs, and other workforce-related expenses.
  • Own end-to-end financial planning and forecasting processes, including annual budgeting, recurring forecasts, and multi-year strategic planning.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to provide actionable insights into revenue drivers, cost structures, profitability, workforce trends, and overall business performance.
  • Develop and enhance complex financial models supporting scenario planning, M&A analysis, pricing strategies, investment decisions, capital allocation, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare high-quality executive financial materials, including Board presentations, investor materials, performance dashboards, and management reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis and business-case support for strategic initiatives involving pricing, profitability, investments, and resource allocation.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance, identify meaningful trends and variances, and translate findings into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of FP&A processes through process redesign, reporting enhancements, automation, and better use of financial systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and business teams to strengthen financial visibility, improve forecasting accuracy, and encourage data-driven decision-making.
  • Take ownership of additional analytical and financial planning initiatives as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, ideally within a high-growth or private equity-backed healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, scenario analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial planning, ERP, business intelligence, or reporting platforms such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong ability to translate complex financial information into concise, actionable insights for senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
  • Proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong bias for action, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence business decisions.
  • Experience using AI-powered productivity or analytical tools, such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude, to improve financial analysis, reporting, or workflow efficiency is a plus.
  • MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • Experience working in a private equity-backed organization is a plus.
  • Must be US-based and able to work effectively in a secure remote environment.
  • Ability to maintain a quiet, distraction-free workspace, reliable internet connection, and comply with applicable security and privacy requirements, including HIPAA-related protocols.
