The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) plays a critical role in delivering applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily focusing on children with autism spectrum disorder. This position involves implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to improve clients' social, communication, and learning skills. The RBT works directly with clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics, ensuring consistent and effective therapy sessions. • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of the RBT 40-hour training course as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

• Additional education, certifications, or training in behavior analysis, special education, psychology, education, or a related field.
• Familiarity with data collection software and electronic health records.
• Bilingual abilities to support diverse client populations.
• RBT Certification.

• Implement individualized ABA therapy programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors and progress during therapy sessions.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during all interactions.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approaches.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to maintain certification and improve clinical skills.
