JOB TITLE: ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT MANAGER - RETAIL

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific Duties

  • Full responsibility and accountability for managing and developing revenue growth for assigned key accounts.
  • Manage the book of business estimating $10M+ annual top line review and deliver on business plans that fully support the business strategy, have clear objectives and is cross functionally supported
  • Assist in establishing goals and specific action plans to meet the needs of assigned accounts
  • Drive forecast discipline to support the business with right sizing inventory and updating demand plan
  • Establish a strong cross functional cadence to support these assigned accounts to drive growth and profitability
  • Manage all existing contract agreements to best support the business
  • Create and keep a strong relationship with accounts to foresee needs and concerns
  • Provide overall superior service to allow accounts to feel a higher level of satisfaction with Guardian Fall Protection
  • Make recommendations on strategies and decisions for accounts

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Skilled sales professional, business savvy, ethical, and self-motivated.
  • Team focused with ability to work with various internal functions to accomplish customer initiatives
  • Understand the complexity with product introductions and back-end set-up at distributors
  • Experience negotiating contracts and pricing agreements
  • Experience with developing and leading internal and external business reviews
  • Deep understanding of the levers that drive profit, revenue and cash creation
  • Project management experience that leads to cross functional support of key customer initiatives
  • Amiable, friendly, and positive character traits and experience working independently
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate account dynamics, develop sales plans and accurately forecast sales
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to meet sales goals and other key performance targets
  • A strong willingness to support the field territory sales manager to bring value to the accounts
  • Enthusiastic drive to succeed with obvious confidence and competitive nature
  • Demonstrated high level of communication skills and intelligence
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Strong follow up skills
  • Travel 25% or more based on business needs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five years of experience in a related field
  • Experience working with large retailers (i.e. Home Depot, Lowes) and Amazon
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing organization.
  • Experience managing projects with cross-functional team members
  • Experience with regulated and compliance driven products lines
  • Experience working in the fall protection or safety products industry
