Shipping Specialist I in Horsham, Pennsylvania at Secor LTD

As a Shipping Specialist I, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring our industry-leading performance parts reach our customers with 100% accuracy. This entry-level position focuses on mastering logistics and inventory workflows, providing a strong foundation for long-term skill growth and career advancement within our global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer order for shipment
• Verify items and quantities against packing lists or work orders
• Properly package stainless steel exhaust systems with heavy parts to prevent damage during transit
• Assist with staging, organizing, and loading outbound shipments
• Carrying boxed exhaust systems, moving, and palletizing boxes up to 75lbs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area
• Participation in opportunities to improve accuracy, labor time reduction, and streamlining initiatives
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Communicate discrepancies or issues to the Shipping Supervisor
• Performing transactions in Epicor MES
• Support other warehouse or shipping tasks as needed

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• No prior shipping experience required, training provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 -2 years of prior warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping experience (helpful but not required)
• Familiarity with scanners, packing equipment, or shipping software

Soft Skills:

• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and schedules
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Basic math and counting accuracy
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Team-oriented, and adaptable

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to approximately 25 – 75 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
