Position: Kitchen Cook
Job Summary

The Kitchen Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This position plays an important role in delivering high-quality food and ensuring every guest has a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards

Ensure all food is prepared following food safety and sanitation standards

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstation

Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation

Assist with food prep, stocking, and kitchen organization

Follow all health and safety regulations

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers during service

Maintain proper storage of food and ingredients

Assist with inventory and notify management when supplies are low

Work efficiently during busy service hours to maintain fast and accurate orders

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of cooking experience required

Experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen preferred

Must be authorized to work in the United States

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Must be at least 18 years old

Reliable transportation

Professional appearance

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs

Frequent bending, reaching, and movement during shifts
