San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful pool, a kids pool, astonishing Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome a new Houseperson to our Mission Bay Family.
As a Houseperson Attendant you will have the opportunity to make the hotel shine! Our Houseperson are the backbone of the hotel and work diligently to maintain the cleanliness of our guest rooms. The Housekeeping Houseperson is a crucial role in which you directly impact the guests stays and have the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the resort’s guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role ensures guests receive exceptional service by providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and resort grounds.
- Deliver linens, towels, amenities, cribs, rollaway beds, and other guest supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping staff.
- Assist Room Attendants with stripping rooms, removing trash, and transporting linens.
- Vacuum hallways, clean windows, dust furniture, and maintain overall appearance of assigned areas.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Stock housekeeping closets and storage areas with supplies and equipment.
- Safely operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and carts.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost and found items, and damaged property to management.
- Follow resort cleanliness standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning assignments as needed.
- Work collaboratively with all resort departments to ensure excellent guest service.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

- This position pays $22.09 Hourly.
