Part-Time Merchandiser - ND, Bismark in Bismark, North Dakota at Kalan LP

Description: Kalan is a third-generation owned consumer products company that has been bringing fun and trendy products to the marketplace for over 50 years! We are looking for individuals who are passionate and spirited about merchandising products in stores. We are hiring Store Merchandisers who work as Independent Contractors (1099) to fill, display, and merchandise our products in stores around the country.The pay for the position is a flat rate per service in a specific location. Our part-time merchandising positions offer flexible scheduling of two short assignments per month with visit frequency changing to weekly assignments during end of the year holiday time.

What You Will Do:

· Merchandise product from shipments to your assigned store within 5 days of shipment arrival. Each visit takes a few hours to complete and must take place when the store is open.

· Use a planogram to replenish and straighten up small merchandise on a large display rack.

· Remove damaged and discontinued merchandise from the display.

· Must be able to take date stamped photos of completed work.

· Must be able to access a website to submit photos to a reporting survey.

· An invoice must be created and must be attached via email to receive payment after work is completed.

· Strong technological skills with a smartphone/tablet that accesses reliable internet.

· Ability to receive emails to review and a willingness to follow written instructions.

· Merchandising and/or retail experience is not necessary, but is a plus!

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to regularly lift 40 pounds.

· Must be able to stand for several hours at a time.

· Merchandisers will be reaching, bending, crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and walking.

· Must be 18 years of age or older.
