Senior Technical Business Analyst

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst in United States.

You will join a mission-driven SaaS environment supporting public sector organizations with solutions that improve critical processes such as tax administration and electronic payments. In this role, you will act as a key bridge between clients and engineering teams, translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements that directly shape product behavior.
You will work across multiple client engagements, helping ensure the software is configured, delivered, and continuously improved to meet real-world operational needs.
Your work will involve deep problem-solving, root cause analysis, and close collaboration with developers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
You will also serve as a subject matter expert, supporting implementations, troubleshooting issues, and guiding clients through system capabilities.
This role requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
It is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical depth with client-facing responsibility and impactful problem-solving.

Accountabilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and development teams, translating business needs into detailed technical specifications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues, identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions.
  • Prioritize feature requests, bug fixes, and enhancements using structured ticketing systems and business impact analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define system behavior, workflows, and technical requirements for new features and fixes.
  • Perform testing in beta environments to validate functionality, ensure accuracy, and confirm alignment with specifications.
  • Support client implementations by configuring systems to meet unique operational and business requirements.
  • Provide client training and ongoing support, ensuring successful adoption of features and system capabilities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, advising clients and internal teams on best practices and system usage.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and product optimization across client engagements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical business analysis, ideally within a SaaS or software-driven environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven experience working directly with clients in a consultative or support-facing capacity.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating closely with software development teams in Agile or iterative environments.
  • Ability to perform structured testing and validation of software changes in staging or beta environments.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with curiosity and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a role that blends technical analysis, client engagement, and implementation support.
