Job Description

Forward Deployed Engineer-AI

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer-AI in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, enterprise consulting, and hands-on solution delivery, focusing on bringing advanced AI systems into real-world production environments. You will work directly with enterprise customers to translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, and production-ready AI solutions. The position requires a strong blend of engineering depth and customer-facing communication, bridging technical execution with executive-level discussions. You will design, deploy, and operationalize AI agents, copilots, and integrations across modern enterprise ecosystems. The environment is fast-moving and highly collaborative, requiring comfort with ambiguity and rapid prototyping. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes how large organizations adopt and scale generative AI.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI and agentic solutions into production environments across customer systems.
  • Develop custom AI applications, workflows, APIs, and integrations across platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Power Platform, and enterprise tools like Salesforce, SAP, and ServiceNow.
  • Lead rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept development, and iterative solution refinement with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Implement secure AI architectures, including RAG pipelines, identity management, data access controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct technical workshops, architecture reviews, and live demonstrations with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Troubleshoot deployment, scaling, and adoption challenges in real time across customer environments.
  • Contribute reusable assets, deployment accelerators, and best practices to improve AI delivery methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to translate business needs into functional AI-driven workflows and solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, AI engineering, or enterprise software delivery roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and generative AI technologies.
  • Proficiency with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and enterprise identity/security systems.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PowerShell.
  • Experience building and deploying AI solutions in production enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of RAG architectures, AI agents, prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, and vector databases.
  • Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, AI governance, and data protection practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while working directly with enterprise clients.
  • Experience with Microsoft security tools (Purview, Sentinel, Defender, Entra) and Power Platform is a plus.
  • Certifications in Azure, AI, or Security are considered an advantage.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $165,000–$225,000 depending on experience and location.
  • Fully remote work environment across the US or Canada.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with 100% employer-paid medical premiums.
  • Generous paid time off and flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance.
  • Retirement plan options and long-term financial planning support.
  • Continuous learning opportunities, training programs, and certification support.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge enterprise AI deployments and Fortune 500-level customers.
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven culture focused on AI transformation and engineering excellence.
