The position centers on Google Cloud Platform, where you will design, deploy, and optimize infrastructure supporting high-availability services. Accountabilities:

Design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Manage workloads using Compute Engine and Cloud Run for scalable service delivery
Containerize applications and services using Docker for consistent deployments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar tools
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to automate provisioning and management
Improve system reliability, security, performance, and observability across environments
Collaborate with developers to optimize deployment workflows and release velocity
Automate repetitive operational tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
Monitor systems and enhance observability using modern monitoring practices
Support production systems ensuring stability, scalability, and resilience

Requirements

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role supporting production systems
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Expertise in Docker and containerized application environments
Solid experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or equivalent tools)
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
Understanding of networking, system design, and cloud architecture principles
Awareness of security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, secrets, access control)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools is a plus (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and production issues
Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently in remote teams
