This is a high-impact global commercial role responsible for managing and expanding strategic customer relationships across multiple regions and business units. You will act as the primary interface for a key global account, ensuring alignment between customer needs and internal capabilities while driving sustainable revenue growth and margin optimization. The role requires a strong mix of strategic planning, technical understanding, and commercial execution within a highly engineered manufacturing environment. You will lead global account strategies, coordinate cross-regional sales efforts, and influence long-term business direction through data-driven insights and customer engagement. Operating at senior levels, you will build trusted relationships with stakeholders across international markets while identifying new business opportunities and innovation pathways. This position is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in complex, matrixed global organizations.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the global account strategy, ensuring alignment across internal teams and customer stakeholders to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global account plan covering multiple divisions, focusing on innovation, new business development, and global expansion opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for new opportunities, including pipeline oversight, quotation management, forecasting, and revenue tracking.
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level customer relationships across multiple regions, acting as the primary global point of contact.
  • Coordinate regional sales teams to ensure execution aligns with global strategy and performance expectations.
  • Lead strategic planning activities for assigned accounts, translating business objectives into actionable 1–3 year growth plans.
  • Analyze customer purchasing trends and market changes, communicating insights and driving corrective or growth-oriented actions.
  • Support contract negotiations, escalation management, and cross-functional alignment with legal, quality, and operational teams.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics, reporting risks and opportunities to internal leadership.
  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of field sales or key account management experience in manufacturing, ideally within medical device OEM or contract manufacturing.
  • Strong technical understanding of elastomers, thermoplastics, injection molding, and extrusion processes.
  • Knowledge of medical device industry standards, including FDA, ISO, cGMP, and validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ, AQL, Cpk).
  • Proven experience in conceptual and solution-based selling in complex technical environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including financial analysis, cost estimating, and ROI evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a remote setting.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to engage with global customers.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual base salary ranging from $165,000 to $185,000 USD.
  • Opportunity to work in a global, high-impact strategic account role.
  • Remote-based position within the United States.
  • Exposure to international markets and cross-functional global teams.
  • Strong focus on innovation, technical development, and career growth.
  • Inclusive and diverse working environment committed to equal opportunity employment.
  • Opportunity to influence long-term customer strategy and global business growth.
