In this role, you will act as a senior technical leader responsible for delivering complex audiovisual and multi-discipline design projects across high-stakes built environment programs. You will combine deep discipline expertise with hands-on project leadership, ensuring that designs are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with client expectations and internal standards. This position blends execution and advisory responsibilities, where you will guide project delivery, support decision-making, and serve as a trusted technical consultant to both internal teams and external clients. You will also play a key role in strengthening delivery systems, improving documentation practices, and contributing to scalable design standards across the organization. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure high-quality outcomes from concept through construction while maintaining strong client relationships. This is a highly collaborative, field-aware role where your expertise directly influences project success, team development, and long-term client trust.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and execute discipline-specific audiovisual design efforts on complex, multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring high-quality, coordinated, and constructible deliverables from concept through completion.
  • Serve as a technical authority across audiovisual systems design, providing guidance, design reviews, and decision support to engineers, designers, and project teams.
  • Manage project health by monitoring scope, schedule, and financial alignment, proactively identifying risks and recommending corrective actions to maintain delivery success.
  • Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to translate requirements into effective AV solutions while building strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Contribute to design standards, workflows, and documentation improvements, including updates to templates, tools, and discipline best practices.
  • Support mentorship and technical development of junior staff by providing coaching, structured feedback, and participation in design reviews and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Participate in project pursuits, technical proposals, and client interviews by shaping AV narratives and contributing to winning project strategies.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in audiovisual systems design or related AEC discipline, with a strong track record of delivering complex, coordinated technical projects.
  • Proven ability to lead or support multi-discipline project delivery with minimal oversight, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Strong technical expertise in audiovisual design workflows, including system coordination, documentation standards, and project delivery processes.
  • Proficiency with industry tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, and collaborative platforms like GitHub or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and build trusted advisory relationships.
  • Experience contributing to design standards, QA/QC processes, and technical documentation improvements in a structured environment.
  • Preferred certifications such as CTS-D, CDT, PE, EIT, or PMP, depending on career background.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation aligned with senior consulting and technical leadership roles
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements with a primarily remote structure
  • 401(k) retirement plan and financial wellness support
  • Professional development opportunities including training, certifications, and internal knowledge-sharing programs
  • Exposure to high-impact, complex projects across major clients and industries
  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong emphasis on technical excellence and mentorship
  • Opportunities to influence design standards, tools, and delivery methodologies at an organizational level
