JOB TITLE: Family Engagement Specialist

JOB SUMMARY: Work with ERSEA and Family Engagement Manager in coordination, planning and implementation of the Parent, Family and Community Engagement Partnerships as outlined in the Head Start Program Performance Standards. Facilitate family/parent engagement through individualized service options per county. Display effective interpersonal relationship skills as they relate to working with community resources, peers, staff and parents.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma/ GED required
2 years’ experience in working with family services or community resources required.
Must have at a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field within eighteen months of hire.
AA in Human Services, Sociology, Psychology or a related field preferred.
Good interpersonal/communication skills are highly desirable.
Experience with a variety of software applications including but not limited to Microsoft programs and ChildPlus preferred.
Have the time management, organization, and public relation skills necessary to work independently.

Compensation: COMPENSATION:$50,546 - $58,658 Based on Education and Experience.
