Summary, Role:

Casino Manager oversees daily operations in the casino. Monitoring staff scheduling, labor costs, bar costs, cage and count operations. The casino manager is responsible for the overall guest satisfaction in the casino. Following local/state and federal regulations as well as upholding internal policy and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Managing casino staffing, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance
2. Responsible for controlling labor costs through proper forecasting and scheduling of staff
3. Assists the Casino General Manager with carrying out policy, setting procedures and developing personnel in keeping with departmental objectives
4. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the system of internal controls
5. Safeguarding company assets within the casino
6. Enforcing casino rules and regulations
7. Resolving customer disputes
8. Verifying and paying off jackpots.

Requirements (KSA’s)

Education, certificates:

High school diploma or equivalent

1-3 years Casino supervisory experience required

Physical requirements:

Standing and walking for long periods at a time up to 8 hours a day, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
