Position: Global Sales Associate

Position Summary

The Global Sales Associate will reside in the Central U.S. Region and is primarily responsible for the administrative support of the Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) Global Sales team. This position reports to the VP of Administration & Chief of Staff with a dotted line to a Global Sales Leader(s).

Qualification Requirement Summary

A minimum of two (2) years experience in a Global Sales Office (GSO) or Hotels Sales office is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including- Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and have the ability to maneuver around and work in sales specific databases (Salesforce, Cvent, etc. or similar platforms.)

The candidate naturally demonstrates tact, integrity, maturity, professionalism, and respect for others, both internally and externally; ability to translate company directives into actionable plans that can be well executed; and can learn and adjust to fast changing technology platforms.

Duties and responsibilities (included but not limited to):

Administrative/Office Duties-

  • Manage email and phone inquiries from hotel members and clients.
  • Compile expense reports
  • Make travel and other event arrangements
  • Create PowerPoint presentations
  • Create availability grids

Salesforce Duties-

  • Track and manage collection of pick-up information and record in Salesforce
  • Update accounts and contacts
  • Build accounts and contacts as instructed
  • Enter leads, responses, lost updates as instructed
  • Log email history activity
  • Assign incentive % to accounts
  • Use and create basic reports from Salesforce and transfer to Excel as needed
  • Update status activity as instructed
  • Update and modify forecasts and forecast notes as instructed
  • Database clean-up and research as needed
  • Create and maintain opportunity profiles for Sales Executive account base

Member Communication-

  • Send leads with customer specific information as instructed
  • Regular follow-up on proposal deadlines to ensure timely delivery to clients
  • Assist Sales Executive with prospect and tentative list management and related member/client communication.
  • Communicate lost updates to members as instructed

Events/Marketing Duties-

  • Assist with event related tasks under the direction of the RVP and Event’s team
  • Assist with special projects, such as email campaigns and event marketing.

Additional-

  • Abide by the policies and procedures of Associated Luxury Hotels International.
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards of Associated Luxury Hotels International employee development and sales and marketing service.
  • Performance of other duties, as needed and as assigned by the Regional, VP of Administration & Chief of Staff, or Director(s) of Global Sales.
  • Some Travel to assist with Events and/or Client or Member meetings.

Compensation at ALHI is determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, education, skills, experience, and organizational needs. Eligible employees may also participate in a variable compensation program with a target bonus opportunity of up to 15%. The base salary range reflects a good‑faith estimate of the anticipated base pay for this role and is one component of ALHI’s total compensation package, which may also include benefits and additional forms of compensation.
