A Steward keeps kitchens, dining areas, and workstations clean and organized. They wash dishes, sanitize equipment, assist kitchen staff, and help maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas.
• Dispose of garbage and recycling properly.
• Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Restock cleaning materials and kitchen supplies.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
• Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma is preferred but not always required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
