This is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategy and execution of customer acquisition initiatives across owned marketing channels in a high-growth, fully remote environment. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving lifecycle marketing programs that generate measurable business impact through email, SMS, direct mail, and emerging engagement channels. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage first-party data, advanced segmentation, and experimentation to optimize acquisition performance and customer journeys. You will also lead and mentor a high-performing team while collaborating with senior stakeholders to translate marketing insights into business decisions. - Define and execute the end-to-end lifecycle acquisition strategy across email, SMS, direct mail, and other owned marketing channels.
- Establish operational goals, execution plans, and performance metrics that align lifecycle acquisition initiatives with broader growth objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing lifecycle marketing team while managing external agency relationships to ensure quality execution.
- Own marketing technology platforms, segmentation architecture, campaign workflows, testing frameworks, and customer acquisition reporting.
- Develop audience orchestration strategies by partnering with data teams to optimize segmentation and customer targeting using first-party data.
- Design and oversee lead generation initiatives, experimentation programs, and continuous optimization efforts to improve acquisition efficiency and campaign performance.
- Monitor industry trends, marketing regulations, and platform best practices, ensuring compliance while driving innovation across lifecycle marketing programs.
- Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, translating marketing metrics into actionable business outcomes.
- At least 7 years of experience managing lifecycle marketing, email marketing, SMS marketing, or customer acquisition programs within direct-to-consumer (DTC), eCommerce, or subscription-based businesses.
- Advanced hands-on expertise with Klaviyo, including campaign management, automation, segmentation, dynamic content, deliverability optimization, and suppression logic.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently interpret performance data, generate insights, and make data-driven optimization decisions.
- Proven experience designing and executing A/B testing and multivariate testing strategies, including experimentation frameworks and statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated success building lifecycle marketing experimentation programs that drive measurable customer acquisition results.
- Experience creating, validating, and optimizing customer segments using first-party data and behavioral insights.
- At least 3 years of experience managing and developing high-performing marketing professionals, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and goal setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing external agency partners and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams across marketing, data, and business functions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex marketing performance to executive stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding campaign quality assurance, tracking accuracy, regulatory compliance, and execution excellence.
- Competitive annual base salary of $130,000–$145,000 USD.
