About the role
The Geospatial Business Analyst is responsible for providing geospatial products, services, and support within Ravensdown. This includes identifying and documenting requirements, managing the implementation of new or improved geospatial systems, and ensuring the accuracy and security of geospatial data.
What you'll do
You will be working closely with both internal and external stakeholders including the Software Engineering Manager, Business Applications Manager and Data and Insights Manager. Externally you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with IT vendors, consultants, and industry bodies.
About you
As a skilled and experienced Geospatial Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for the development, support, and administration of geospatial enterprise systems. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing and extending the use of geospatial tools at Ravensdown. Additionally, you will contribute the specification, development, implementation, and testing of system enhancements to ensure they align with the needs and expectations of end users.
Ideal skills & experience
Your experience with the Esri ArcGIS suite of tools will be essential, and your knowledge of other GIS or geospatial systems and concepts will be highly valued. To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in GIS.
- Superior Business Analysis skills.
- At least 5 years’ experience in using an ArcGIS enterprise server environment.
- Experience in building ESRI ARCGIS Online or Portal applications and fluent with ArcGIS Pro.
- Experience in providing technical system support.
- An ability to work with a wide range of people.
- Great communication and relationship building skills.
