We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Clerk - Clinic to join our revenue cycle team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, investigating, and resolving denied insurance claims to maximize reimbursement. You will communicate directly with insurance payers, research coverage policies, verify patient eligibility, and file necessary claim re-submissions or appeals.

• Claim Resolution & Appeals: Investigate and resolve denied or rejected insurance claims. File formal appeals and resubmit corrected claims to payers in a timely manner.

• Payer Communication: Contact insurance payers via phone, online portals, or written correspondence to clarify denial reasons, check claim status, and resolve billing issues.

• Policy & Coverage Research: Research payer guidelines, medical policies, and patient insurance eligibility to ensure accurate submission and adherence to coverage rules.

• Documentation & Tracking: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all collection activities, payer interactions, and claim adjustments within the billing system.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with insurance representatives and internal teams.
