Job Description

Marketing Operations Analyst (RevOps) - ShareGate

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst (RevOps) - ShareGate based in Canada.

As a Marketing Operations Analyst, you’ll become the analytical engine behind marketing performance for a high-growth B2B SaaS business.
You’ll own attribution, reporting, and funnel analysis, turning complex data into clear recommendations for marketing and executive leadership.
Working closely with Marketing Operations and RevOps, you’ll help establish a reliable view of what drives pipeline and revenue.
You’ll analyze both inbound and channel performance to identify opportunities, risks, and the highest-return areas for investment.
This is a newly created role with significant ownership and the opportunity to build the analytical foundations from the ground up.
You’ll combine strong marketing analytics expertise with practical business judgment and daily use of AI to accelerate insights.
Your work will directly influence budget allocation, campaign strategy, and the organization's approach to sustainable revenue growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the marketing attribution architecture across HubSpot and HockeyStack, ensuring attribution questions can be answered consistently and accurately.
  • Analyze campaign, funnel, and attribution data to identify what is driving pipeline, revenue, and conversion performance across inbound and channel programs.
  • Develop executive-ready reporting and narratives that turn complex datasets into clear, actionable business recommendations.
  • Build and maintain reporting and diagnostic frameworks covering campaign performance, funnel conversion, source quality, and other critical marketing metrics.
  • Identify performance gaps and opportunities, helping marketing leadership determine where to increase investment and where to pull back.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Operations, RevOps, and marketing leadership to ensure data and insights translate into practical decisions.
  • Establish a coherent view of attribution and marketing performance across multiple systems following the organization's CRM and revenue architecture.
  • Use AI tools, particularly Claude, to accelerate analysis, automate recurring workflows, and reduce the time required to move from business questions to actionable insights.
  • Make deep-dive performance analysis a consistent part of marketing planning and decision-making rather than an occasional reporting exercise.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations or marketing analytics, ideally within a B2B SaaS, software, or fintech environment.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise with HubSpot, including campaign, lifecycle, attribution, and reporting logic.
  • Strong understanding of attribution methodologies, including first-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch models, with the judgment to select the appropriate approach for different business questions.
  • Solid knowledge of UTM governance, lead routing and round-robin processes, lifecycle stages, and source and channel taxonomies.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate the underlying reasons behind performance trends rather than simply reporting numbers.
  • Ability to transform complex or messy datasets into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated daily use of AI tools to accelerate analysis, research, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Experience with HockeyStack or a comparable marketing attribution platform is a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and data-driven decision-making is highly valued.
Benefits
  • Base salary of CAD $100,000–$130,000.
  • On-target earnings (OTE) of CAD $110,000–$140,000.
  • Compensation ranges reflect a Canada-wide scale, with final offers potentially adjusted according to the candidate's region and local market conditions.
  • Long-term incentive program (LTIP), providing an opportunity to participate in the organization's long-term growth.
  • RRSP program.
  • Family health insurance.
  • Telemedicine services.
  • Annual wellness budget.
  • Flexible vacation policy.
  • Fully remote work, with access to a Montreal office.
  • In-person team gatherings twice a year.
  • Claude access for all employees.
