Job Title: Production Supervisor

Employment Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Department: Retail Operations

Reports To: Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager

Work Schedule: Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability required

Compensation: $21.00–$23.00 per hour

Location: Lynnwood, WA

Position Overview

The Production Supervisor leads the daily back-of-house operations by supervising Production

Associates and volunteers while ensuring donated merchandise is sorted, priced, processed, and

moved efficiently to the sales floor. This working supervisor promotes productivity, quality, safety,

and teamwork while supporting Bella's Voice's mission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support Production Associates and volunteers.
• Train employees in production standards, pricing guidelines, and safety procedures.
• Assign daily work priorities and monitor productivity.
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition.
• Oversee sorting, pricing, tagging, and preparation of donated merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise quality and pricing consistency.
• Coordinate the flow of merchandise from production to the sales floor.
• Monitor production goals and recommend process improvements.
• Inspect merchandise for quality and resale standards.
• Maximize resale opportunities while minimizing waste.
• Ensure accurate pricing and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.
• Ensure proper lifting techniques and OSHA-compliant practices.
• Support donation intake and collaborate with front-end leadership.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of retail, warehouse, production, or thrift experience.
• One year of supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills.
• Ability to lift to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Thrift store or resale retail experience.
• Knowledge of clothing brands, housewares, antiques, or collectibles.
• Experience supervising volunteers.
• Passion for animal welfare and community service.
