HR Associate

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an HR Associate based in India.

As an HR Associate, you will play a key role in driving talent acquisition across multiple positions and client organizations. You will manage recruitment activities from candidate sourcing and screening through interviews, assessments, and offers. The role combines hands-on recruiting with stakeholder coordination, requiring strong organization, communication, and follow-through. You will collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders to deliver efficient and high-quality hiring outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to identifying and attracting top talent while maintaining a strong candidate experience. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment. You will also have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to recruitment across a diverse portfolio of growing organizations.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive candidate sourcing initiatives through LinkedIn and other relevant recruitment channels, developing effective strategies to identify and attract high-quality talent.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across multiple roles, using diverse sourcing approaches to support ongoing hiring needs.
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial candidate interviews and evaluations, and maintain a consistently high quality bar throughout the selection process.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and other hiring activities while ensuring candidates and stakeholders receive timely updates and clear communication.
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, support recruitment goals, and keep processes aligned with agreed timelines.
  • Manage assigned requisitions independently from initial intake through the offer stage, tracking progress and proactively addressing delays or follow-up requirements.
  • Provide stakeholders with regular recruitment updates, candidate insights, and status reports to support informed hiring decisions.
  • Take ownership of recruitment-related projects and contribute to additional initiatives or responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment, talent sourcing, candidate evaluation, and stakeholder management.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage recruitment workflows systematically and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to keep multiple hiring processes moving efficiently.
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence communicating with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders while maintaining organization, responsiveness, and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned requisitions and recruitment projects.
  • Experience in a startup environment or in-house recruitment is a plus.
  • Previous experience supporting remote teams is preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive monthly salary of $550–$700, depending on experience.
  • Fully remote, full-time position based in India.
  • Opportunity to work directly with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders across a diverse portfolio of fast-growing organizations.
  • Exposure to multiple recruitment processes, roles, and client environments, providing broad professional development opportunities.
  • Opportunity to strengthen expertise across sourcing, candidate evaluation, stakeholder management, and full-cycle recruitment.
  • Collaborative remote environment with significant ownership and responsibility.
  • Full-time opportunity with a planned start as soon as the right candidate is identified.
  • Working schedule aligned with the US shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST.
  • Practical skills assessment as part of the recruitment process prior to interviews.
