Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures Peerless Beverage Company’s market leadership and fosters its position as the distributor of choice for retail customers.
- Customer Service Duties
- Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls with appropriate follow up.
- Efficiently and promptly responds to retail customer inquiries, feedback, requests, and records accurate detail of actions taken.
- Supports retail customers by accepting orders, providing order status, providing product pricing information and availability.
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with retail customers.
- Supports assigned sales representative with resolving invoice discrepancies, providing order status, providing retail customer COD terms, and general retail customer account information.
- Responsible for checking sales orders for accuracy and advising the sales department of receipt of orders.
- Monitor’s retail customer orders for violation of credit issues and notifies Account Receivable.
- Possess a basic understanding of Peerless Beverage Company’s ecommerce platform to provide support to retail customers.
- Provide additional administrative support to the organization that includes but not limited to, processing special event orders and product sample requests
- Front Desk Duties
- Manage our front desk operations by greeting visitors and performing various administrative tasks to support the efficiency of our office including but not limited to.
- Welcome and direct visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
- Manage calendars appointments from the organization by confirming appointments, meetings, and ensure visitors are directed appropriately.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Manage our front desk operations by greeting visitors and performing various administrative tasks to support the efficiency of our office including but not limited to.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in select Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Customer Service experience and the ability to listen and communicate well.
- Proficient in internal industry software (i.e., EoStar)
- Knowledge of Peerless Beverage Company products, pricing, and discounts.
- Strong understanding of PBC market territory and supplier footprints.
- Strong business math skills (margin, markup, break even, draft profitability, etc.)
- Ability to reconcile invoices.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal relationship skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of product coding.
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and/or a warehouse setting. Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, however occasional weekend and/or evening work may be necessary. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and other office machinery.

This role is primarily a stationary position but occasionally requires the ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee must also have the ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine, printer, calculator, etc. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Additionally, this position requires the ability to observe, inspect, and assess PBC and vendor documents and written communications.
