About the RoleThe Senior Financial Analyst supports the Accounting and Finance department through the preparation, analysis, and delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and business insights. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this role is responsible for performing critical financial analysis, developing and maintaining financial models, and preparing reports and presentations for Senior Leadership and Committees.
The position plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations. The Senior Financial Analyst collaborates closely with stakeholders to gather, validate, and interpret financial and operational data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of reporting deliverables.

- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and distribute monthly cost center and profit center reports, providing insightful analysis of results and trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Profitability Modeling: Create, maintain, and refine product profitability models. Assist in profitability analysis projects and initiatives to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.
- ALCO Committee Support: Ensure effective balance sheet management by preparing and delivering materials for the Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO). This includes compiling asset-liability management (ALM) data, conducting preliminary report reviews, performing quarterly model back-testing, and coordinating annual scenario testing.
- Forecasting & Trend Analysis: Develop, maintain, and enhance financial forecasts by analyzing historical data, key performance indicators, and emerging trends. Perform data analysis to support budgeting, strategic planning, and the proactive identification of financial risks and opportunities.
- Finance Committee Reporting: Develop and distribute semi-monthly Finance Committee reports for review, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance of financial information presented to senior leadership and board committees.
- Financial Close: Collaborate with the Accounting team on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Contribute to preparation of financial statements and management reports, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Intelligence, Operations, Collections, Lending, and other departments to ensure data quality and integrity. Implement process improvements and streamline reporting workflows, leveraging data tools to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Pull and analyze financial data on demand to answer business questions and support special projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum five years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or similar roles.
- Personal computer experience to include Microsoft Office products.
