This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Key Account Manager based in the United States.
This role focuses on driving enterprise growth across the Northeast US territory by developing and expanding relationships with large-scale data center operators and facility stakeholders. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, converting them into long-term commercial partnerships, and managing complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to close. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will demonstrate the value of data center infrastructure management solutions and align them with customer operational needs. The position requires strong consultative selling skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to engage with senior technical and business decision-makers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, marketing, and leadership to ensure territory success. This is a remote role with required residency within the assigned territory and occasional travel for customer engagement and industry events.
- Develop and expand a strong enterprise pipeline across the assigned Northeast US territory
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities into long-term customer relationships
- Manage full sales cycles from prospecting to contract closure within complex enterprise environments
- Engage and influence multiple stakeholders including data center operators and facility managers
- Coordinate internal teams (sales engineering, marketing, leadership) to deliver tailored solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting and provide regular updates on territory performance
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen market presence
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software or complex solution sales
- Proven track record of managing major accounts and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong experience in consultative, multi-level selling within large corporate environments
- Ability to engage and influence C-level executives and senior technical stakeholders
- Solid understanding of business development, pipeline management, and CRM tools
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure or technical environments is highly preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with structured sales methodologies (Challenger, SPIN, Sandler, etc.) is a plus
