Job Description
Join our team keeping Sun City Lincoln Hills beautiful, safe, and thriving. We’re looking for a Landscape/Maintenance Technician I who takes pride in maintaining high quality grounds and enjoys hands on outdoor work.

What You’ll Do
• Maintain community grounds: mowing, fertilizing, mulching, and general upkeep
• Trim trees, hedges, and shrubs; remove weeds and debris
• Assist with landscape projects and special construction tasks
• Operate hand tools and equipment (loppers, saws, blowers, hedge trimmers,
chainsaws, etc.)
• Apply fertilizers, insecticides, and chemical treatments as needed
• Support irrigation audits and perform basic irrigation repairs
• Keep common areas clean and safe; empty trash receptacles
• Maintain records, inventory, and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and report hazards
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For
Education and Certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid California driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Experience and Skills
• 2+ years in landscape maintenance, installation, or related work
• Knowledge of safe pesticide use, equipment operation, drainage, and water
conservation
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and plumbing codes
• Basic computer skills for water management systems
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse environment

Physical and Work Requirements
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends or holidays when needed
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather (heat, cold, rain, wind)
• Able to lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 lbs. throughout the day
• Frequent standing, kneeling, stooping, and walking across large areas
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Must be alert, detail oriented, and able to make sound decisions
• Work may involve exposure to vegetation, wildlife, and insects
• Must remain focused and professional in a fast paced, sometimes stressful
environment
