NORF is looking for an experienced Apartment Leasing Agent in Dothan, AL. If you are looking for a part-time job that is a commission-only position, with no cap on what you can make, and you want to match your skills and abilities with one of the nation’s most unique real estate development firms, you may be the ideal prospect.

What You’ll Be Doing:

The primary duty of this position is to greet prospects, present professionally the features and benefits of their assigned community, and properly secure lease agreements from qualified applicants.

What We Are Looking For:

• Property leasing: 2 years (Required)
• Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial, customer service-based mindset (prior sales experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in property management software and other relevant technology.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take the initiative.
• Willing to work on a straight commission pay structure.
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Exceptional skills in communication, writing, and editing.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
• Superior prioritization and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of prospects and matching them with the perfect apartment.
• Identify prospects’ living standards, preferences, and budgets to find suitable housing options
• Market promotions and discounted lease offers effectively
• Conduct tours of available apartments for potential residents
• Respond promptly to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries about housing
• Communicate effectively to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Develop and distribute marketing materials, promotional emails, and fliers to advertise available properties
• Ensure that recently vacated properties are cleaned and ready for viewing
• Follow up with prospective renters to reassess their needs and requirements
• Negotiate leasing terms to close deals
