About This Position

JOB SUMMARY
-
Serves as an advocate for patients and visitors by performing a variety of duties that support the patients, staff and facility. These duties include but are not limited to visitor information, receptionist, patient transport, messenger and clerical assistance. Follows the policies and procedures of the facility.

Education/Regulatory Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Health care experience preferred.

Skills:

Good human relation skills required.

Must possess high degree of self-motivation.

Must possess high degree of physical and mental stamina.

Must possess strong communication skills and be able to relate to all socio-economic backgrounds.

Possess and manifest maturity, empathy, tact, flexibility, sensitivity, tenacity, judgment, and a sense of humor.

Computer skills to include typing and use of spreadsheets and word processing applications.
