Transporter at Houston Healthcare – Perry, Georgia

Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, maintains environment of the OR based on AORN standards, assists in transport and/or positioning of surgical patients as assigned.

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy.

Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc.

Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
